Roman Opimakh, Director General of the Ukrainian Geological Survey, participated in the High Level Conference “Strategic Partnership between the European Union and Ukraine on Critical Raw Materials and Batteries”.

“An important cooperation between Ukraine and the EU in the development of critical materials has been launched,” said Roman Opimakh. — Ukraine has significant mineral resources. We have 20 of the 30 critical minerals from the EU’s list of critical elements. These are lithium, titanium, zirconium, tantalum, niobium, nickel, cobalt and others. We invite foreign investors to explore and develop the deposits of critical raw materials by participating in electronic auctions, as well as to join existing projects at already licensed blocks through business partnership.”
